Producers
Our food derives from 16 different producers in and close to Uppsala. These are chosen by three guidelines:
1. LOCALLY PRODUCED
The food should be produced as close to the members of UltiMat as possible, in other words, close to Uppsala. If a certain grocery only can be produced in a special climate zone, longer distances can be accepted. UltiMat only distributes products that are primarily produced within the borders of Sweden due to:
- environmental and climate reasons; reduced carbon dioxide emissions and good environmental regulations for agriculture
- social reasons; to support Swedish agriculture and to be sure about the origin of the food
2. ENVIRONMENTAL CARE AND ANIMAL WELFARE
We strive for food production which consists of fewer toxins, greater biological diversity, and good animal welfare.
3. NO MIDDLEMEN
To create direct and closer contact with the farmers and to know the origin of the food.

Flour, egg, different fresh vegetables (e.g. lettuce, cauliflower, winter cabbage, spinach, pak choi), herbs, fermented vegetables, miso, lamb meat, honey, beeswax, lambskin rugs, wool, jam, applesauce, dried berries, frozen berries, dried mushrooms, juice, cheese, tea, kombucha, milk kefir, seasonings, salves, deodorant...
